U of A Basketball Concessions

Working at the U of A Basketball Concessions is a great opportunity for you
and/or your student(s) to earn money for band fees, activities,
etc. It is also an opportunity to get to know other band parents
and support the band as you did if you worked the Football Concession.

U of A Basketball Games

Attached is the list of workers for the remaining basketball games. Effective January 24th, our worker count will increase to 18 workers per game. We need workers for ALL remaining games.
Thursday, January 24th is the next game, and we are still short 10 people.
Please look at the sheet and email me if you can work this game and/or any other games in the future.
Basketball season has gone awesome so far, and we would like to continue to show the U of A that we can represent the Sahuaro Band and get the job done!
I'm hoping we can get more students and parents to step up, as the basketball season heats up and gets more exciting.
Please take advantage of the form Victor has put on the website for signing up for games, and choose the games you can work. Once you have submitted your form, it will come right to me and I will add you to the schedule.

Two Tucson high school marching bands earned superior ratings in the Arizona Band Day competition on Saturday at Arizona Stadium. The Rincon/University High School and Sahuaro High School bands were
among the nine from around the state to earn the rating. Click

Bottle Water Donations

After each band performance, we provide the students with a bottle of cold water. Each year we ask the parents to contribute at least one CASE OF 16 OZ. WATER BOTTLES. Cases of water can be purchsed for less than $5.00. We request that the water be delivered to the band room by the THURSDAY PRIOR to the scheduled performances. Used Printer Cartridges Fund Raiser

Did you know that the band can earn money when you turn in old/used printer cartridges? Any kind, any size is acceptable. Once we get back in the band room, there will be a donation box. Every litlle bit helps!

Tell your Friends, Family and Neighbors! Tax credits can be used for Band Camp and trips, not fees. You can pay for fees and anything else through fundraising, like working the U of A concessions.
