It’s time for our annual Sahuaro Band Awards
Picnic. So let’s get our shorts and flip flops on and get down
to the nitty gritty. Seniors beware, those pesky under classmen
will be out for sweet revenge. Under classmen, don’t turn your
backs on the Seniors, you know they’re devious. Bring your
squirt guns, super soakers, water balloons and any other water
gadget for a fun filled day.
The picnic is potluck, so be on the lookout for a
sign up sheet.
REMEMBER TO BRING: Sun
screen, towels, folding chairs and/or blankets, and maybe a
change of clothes.

Two Tucson high school marching bands earned superior ratings in the Arizona Band Day competition on Saturday at Arizona Stadium. The Rincon/University High School and Sahuaro High School bands were
among the nine from around the state to earn the rating. Click

Bottle Water Donations

After each band performance, we provide the students with a bottle of cold water. Each year we ask the parents to contribute at least one CASE OF 16 OZ. WATER BOTTLES. Cases of water can be purchsed for less than $5.00. We request that the water be delivered to the band room by the THURSDAY PRIOR to the scheduled performances. Used Printer Cartridges Fund Raiser

Did you know that the band can earn money when you turn in old/used printer cartridges? Any kind, any size is acceptable. Once we get back in the band room, there will be a donation box. Every litlle bit helps!

Tell your Friends, Family and Neighbors! Tax credits can be used for Band Camp and trips, not fees. You can pay for fees and anything else through fundraising, like working the U of A concessions.
