Sahuaro High School Band

Needs Tax Credit Donations!

The Sahuaro High School Cougar Marching Band needs your help!  We are in need of funds to help reduce the cost of Band Camp and to assist with the purchase of new instruments.  You can help us by encouraging your family, friends, neighbors, and co-workers to donate their tax credit to the Sahuaro Band.

The State of Arizona has authorized a tax credit up to $400 for income tax payers filing jointly and a $200 tax credit for individuals filing single.   When you file your state income taxes in 2008, you will either receive a refund of your tax credit amount, or your tax bill will be reduced by the amount you paid!  This is a way for your Arizona tax funds to be paid directly to a public school of your choice.   This is a win-win program for our schools and our tax-payers.

If you have not already contributed your tax credit funds, please consider donating to the Sahuaro High School Band.  If you have, please help us by soliciting donations from your family and friends who do not have children in school.  We welcome ANY amount that will help defray the costs to our students.  Thank you so very much for your consideration of this request!
